Annabel is now 19 months old. And she can talk! Mostly she just says hello and goodbye to things ("Hi Ma-yi!" when she sees me, for example, or "Bye-bye, toes!" when she puts on her shoes), but still. So adorable.

I learned this summer, when I was trying to post all of my internship photos in a timely fashion, that if I get behind on an ongoing project, it's best to just start again with the most recent work rather than trying to fill in the gaps and getting bogged down. After all, it's better to have some false starts than to give up completely. That said, I do have a few other photo-a-day shots from the last week and I'll be making a catchup post in a few days.

By the way, I'm sorry if my pictures look oversaturated or overcontrasty to some of you—I'm having a nasty color profile issue in Photohop that I just can't figure out, but I'll be badgering someone about it at Macworld, so it'll get fixed.
