thesis parade 2012! PART THREE
Aug. 27th, 2012 09:53 pmContext for the uninitiated: Every Reed student spends his or her senior year writing a big fancy thesis. Twice a year (i.e., in the spring for regular students and in the fall for those who started their theses in the spring) there’s a Thesis Parade, at which the seniors (identifiable by their plastic laurels) dance and scream and make out with everyone and ritually burn copies of their completed theses while the rest of us spray them with champagne. Then they march through the library, across the lawn, and up to the registrar's office to symbolically submit their theses.
Belated congratulations, seniors!

olivia and shaun
Apr. 19th, 2011 09:20 amMy friend Olivia and her husband Shaun visited us last week, on their way from the UK to Portland after Olivia’s two-year sojourn in Europe.
We ate delicious ribs and bread and chicken and cheese dip and mussels and Snapea Crisps, and Shaun got his hair did.

And of course we had a photo session.

kristin and aaron's wedding
Sep. 18th, 2010 11:46 pmBetter late than never, yes?
I wasn't the main photographer for this wedding, so these are kind of supplemental, but I hope I got some good moments, anyway.
At my website here.
