A Bitterroot landscape. I hate landscapes and this one is unremarkable, but I drove through this kind of scene so many times I had to take a picture, even if it would be boring to others.

It's not orange because of the sunset but because of the smoke from the late summer wildfires.

The Bitterroot Valley in western Montana. I don't know which town I was in when I took it (somewhere in the middle of my hour-long commute) but the mountains pictured are the Bitterroot Mountains, which border the valley to the west.

That looks very familiar. I rode through Florence on my way across the country last September (the photo in my icon here was taken on Hwy 12 heading up to Lolo Pass). We could still smell smoke even then.
