Context for non-Reedies: Every senior at Reed spends a year completing a very long and impressive thesis in their major. When they finish their theses, they get a plastic crown of laurels to wear and they have a Thesis Parade, at which they burn copies of their theses at a bonfire while getting doused with champagne and then march through the library, across the lawn, and up to the registrar's office in the main administration building. This kicks off Renn Fayre, Reed's incredible three-day-long year-end party, which... Well, just look at the pictures.

Congratulations, seniors! You're awesome. The rest of us will miss you.

Your pics are so excellent. I especially love the paint-splattered folks...I remember the colors, sounds, etc from my senior Renn Fayre ('05) like it was yesterday...my job kept me from coming back this year (and last, sigh...), and I just wanted to say that your pictures are gorgeous and I am SO JEALOUS :) I heard this year's party was epic. Congrats, seniors!!!

Gotcha. So do you just have a remote cord hanging out of the storm jacket?

I have a Canon 30D - looking for a wide angle lens soon (my 28-75 has a nice wide aperture, but really wasn't cutting it for the shots I wanted this weekend (was shooting a huge abandoned church).

I really want to get one of those underwater housings and take to the seas - but they're so expensive!
