I got a macro lens for Christmas, and today I played around with it. This thing is seriously fun.

So I'm going to just marry your macro lens, if you don't mind. Bout what is the price range on those babies?

Around $400. Ugh, camera expenses can just bite me.

GORGEOUS

What kind of camera/lens do you have? And I'm always confused about the macro feature... do you zoom in to use it? Or do you get close to the object?

This was my Nikon D70 with a Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro lens. What are you working with?

I just have a macro setting on my new fujifilm finepix. Don't have a "real" camera. But I don't know if you're supposed to zoom in, or hold the camera close, or what a 'macro' actually does!

Omg. It's like that game in cranium where you have to guess what the object is based on a closeup of of part of it. I am in continuous envy of the closeups your camera can do.

The first shot of the leaves rock!

I'm jelous of your lens. I want it. But if I buy it, then I won't have a very practical selection of lenses :(
